We carry out the total consultation from concept to commissioning stage generally defined as under :
- Identification of site for each earth pit.
- The soil testing
- The capacity of the earth electrode (dimensions)
- Type of electrode
- Supervising installation
- Testing of the installation
- Commissioning/connecting the equipment , report preparation and verification with the standard requirements.
- Handling of the installation
- Presentation of required documentation in terms of Designing of earthing, selection of make (with two or more options), model, type, size for a typical design and testing, size calculation, calculation for life cycle.
- Complies to IEEE.
- Certification for the earthing system for a site.
B. Auditing of Earthing Systems
For existing projects:
Auditing of the existing old system and action there after.
Subject: Auditing , rectifying, replacing and provision of new earthing systems for tool room
“The scope of the auditing will be generally as under”
- Physical inspection
- Continuity of the earth
- Ohmic value test for the earth pit
- Test for voltage b/w neutral and earth
- Supply voltage at the equipment /in general/or line voltage at the premises
“After the earthing pits are audited following actions will be taken”
- The earthing pits will be classified in to three catagories
- Acceptable
- Not acceptable
- Defective but repairable
- Missing or new earthing required.
- We shall issue certificate of test for the acceptable earthing pit found ok.
- The reason for not accepting the earthing will be specified clearly as under:
- Discontinuity at the level of the earth pit
- Deterioration of the copper plate and earthing connecting strips
- The age of the earth pit
- Unusual ohmic values of the earth pit
- The defective earthing will be identified and repair action will be taken as necessary.
